Digital Skills Tutor – London

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable Digital Skills Tutor to deliver engaging and inclusive digital skills programmes to young people and adult learners across Lambeth and other London boroughs.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping learners build the digital confidence, knowledge, and practical skills needed to participate more fully in education, employment, and everyday life.

Working with learners from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of digital experience, you will deliver accessible, hands-on learning activities that develop essential digital literacy, online communication, digital independence, and safe use of technology. You will support learners who may be unfamiliar with digital devices or lack confidence using online services, helping them overcome barriers and become more independent.

You will plan and deliver interactive learning sessions, assess individual needs, provide constructive feedback, and monitor progress towards achievable learning goals. Your teaching approach will be flexible, supportive, and responsive to individual abilities, learning styles, and aspirations.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering digital skills training within post-16 education, adult learning, community education, or a similar setting, together with excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain digital concepts clearly and simply.

This is a flexible bank/shift-based opportunity suited to a professional who enjoys helping people develop practical skills, embrace technology, and achieve greater independence.

If you are passionate about digital inclusion and empowering learners to navigate an increasingly digital world with confidence, we would love to hear from you.
